When Samuel was finally taken off the field, tears were streaming down his face as he made his way to the tunnel. 

As he walked out, “Deebo” chants from 49ers supporters greeted him. 

Jordan Schultz believes Samuel will avoid suffering a severe injury. The 26-year-leg old’s was twisted as he was tackled to the ground on a 3-yard run, resulting in an injury. 

On the play, he fumbled, and Bucs linebacker Lavonte David was able to collect the ball. 

Samuel continued to play while clearly in pain when the football was retrieved. Samuel was eventually carried from the field while upset.

The audience applauded as the cart headed toward the tunnel as Samuel left the stadium, and 49ers players ran over to the cart to show their support. 

How Was He Injured?

The ‘wideback‘ Deebo of the San Francisco 49ers With 5:05 remaining in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Samuel sustained an ankle injury.
