Mark Few’s wife, Marcy Laca, met him when he served as a full-time assistant coach at Gonzaga in 1990 after completing his studies at the University of Oregon in 1987. She has supported him throughout his career.

Mark’s wife, Marcy, consistently supports him and has gained a lot of notoriety due to being acknowledged as Mark Few’s wife and attracting everyone’s attention. 

The pair met several times before they began dating. The couple decided to marry a few years later, and they wed on June 11th, 1994. 

The ceremony was planned by Mark’s father, Rev. Few. the couple share three kids together.

The family spends much time outside when not on the court together. The duo enjoys hiking and biking on the trails around Spokane, Washington, and has previously hosted charity golf tournaments.

Gonzaga University has been under the direction of American collegiate basketball coach Mark Few since 1999.

Recently, The UCLA Bruins will be the opponent for the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the Sweet 16 round of the 2023 NCAA tournament on Thursday, which will be difficult for them. 

Mark Few, the head coach of the Gonzaga basketball team, has been working hard to be ready for that game, but he took a moment to criticize the quality of the basketballs used in the Big Dance.

Mark said in his statement,” The last thing we should be doing is playing with brand-new, slick basketballs,” Further, he said, “We need to have the ball inflated less, and we’d see the better shooting and less fumbling with the ball.”

Who is Mark Few wife?

Marcy Laca, 51 years old, was born Marcy Eileen Laca in 1970. She has never shared her personal details and has always made an effort to avoid the limelight. It doesn’t seem that Marcy Laca uses social media or has an Instagram account.

According to insiders, the pair adores fly fishing, and they have been working hard as a marriage to provide their kids with a happy and healthy existence.

Additionally, the duo engages in charitable and voluntary work in the neighborhood.

Mark and Marcy Few are philanthropists

Together with his wife, Marcy Laca, he is well known for leading the American Cancer Society basketball game fundraisers. 

Through the Coaches vs. Cancer Umbrella, which Marcy and Mark Few first established in 2002, they generated over $1 million for the American Cancer Society. 

Despite her advanced age, Marcy is actively involved in volunteer work and other charitable endeavors, and she routinely hosts philanthropic activities and other events of a similar nature.

Their golf tournament is one of the most prominent Coaches vs. Cancer fundraisers nationwide.

With the help of others, Marcy and her husband founded the Community Cancer Fund in 2014; since then, they have raised more than 17 million dollars.

 They have also opened an expansion of Spokane’s Ronald McDonald House, the Hospitality Center at Kootenai Health, and a lodging facility for cancer patients and their families traveling to the area for treatment.

The couple is parents to 4 children

Together, Mark Few and Marcy Laca share four children. They are known as a parent of three sons and one daughter. 

Their eldest child is Austin James (A.J.); he was born in 2000. His eldest child is a student at Gonzaga High School and is often seen playing beside him.

Later, the couple became the parents of their second child, Joseph Dillon, who was born after two years of his brother’s birth. Later, they welcomed their first daughter. 

The third child Julia Ann Elizabeth was born in 2006. After three years, they gave birth to their youngest child, Colt Walker, born in 2010.

His daughter and three sons frequently accompany the team on trips and may be seen handing out towels and water bottles on the bench.
