AJ Griffin, known professionally as Adrian Darnell Griffin Jr, is a rising star in the American professional basketball scene. 

He currently plays for the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA and previously showcased his skills while playing for the Duke Blue Devils in college basketball.

Griffin’s exceptional talent was quickly recognized, with ESPN rating him a four-star recruit, while 247Sports and Rivals gave him a five-star rating. 

In the 2022 NBA Draft, he was selected as the 16th overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks and later played in the NBA Summer League.

Notably, AJ Griffin has a brother named Alan Griffin who also shares his passion for basketball. Alan is an accomplished player in his own right, currently playing for the Newfoundland Growlers in the CEBL. 

During his senior year of high school, Alan led his team to multiple championships, earning him the Player of the Year title for Putnam and Westchester County.

While with the Westchester Knicks, he signed a contract in December 2021, but was later released in January 2022. Despite this setback, Alan continued to pursue his passion for basketball and signed with the Newfoundland Growlers in May 2022.

AJ Griffin and his brother Alan Griffin share a close bond as siblings, with a small age gap of less than three years. AJ was born on August 25, 2003, making him 19 years old as of 2023. 

Meanwhile, Alan was born on April 14, 2000, which means he is currently 22 years old. Despite the slight age difference, both brothers have made a name for themselves in the world of professional basketball.

During his prime, he played as a small forward and shooting guard in the NBA from 1999 to 2008. Adrian started every game for three years for Seton Hall University, earning him a place in the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame.

On the other hand, Audrey is an author and blogger who wrote the modern parenting book “The Day I Took Off My Cape.” She also blogs about parenting from a lifestyle perspective for the popular parenting website “Removing the Cape.” 

In addition to her career as a writer, Audrey is a former National Basketball Wives Association vice president known as “Behind the Bench.”
