Who Is Steph Curry’s Sister? Everything To Know

Steph Curry Sister

Sydel Curry, the wife of Phoenix Suns basketball star Stephen Curry’s sister, is connected to the NBA in more ways than one. Stephen, also known as Wardell Stephen Curry II, is a professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors.

During a game against the Dallas Mavericks on February 4, Stephen experienced pain in his left shin after McKinley Wright IV’s knee hit it. The initial diagnosis was a severe leg contusion, but it turned out to be more complicated due to Stephen’s planted foot carrying a lot of weight.

Instead of immediately going to the locker room, Steve Kerr called a timeout, and Stephen waited on the bench. He attempted to stand up, which changed his perspective and the Warriors’ vision.

X-rays showed no major fractures, but an MRI revealed partial rips to his superior tibiofibular ligaments, interosseous membrane, and a bruise on his leg. While the diagnosis was a relief, Stephen’s return to the court is unknown because of the ligament issues.

Curry and Lee were in a relationship for five years before getting married on September 1, 2020. The ceremony took place at the Charlotte Marriott City Center in North Carolina. Ayesha and Callie, Curry’s in-laws, were bridesmaids, with Ayesha serving as the matron of honor.

Seth and the Warriors’ point guard served as groomsmen, and Riley and Ryan, the children of Steph and Ayesha, were flower girls.

On their anniversary, both Curry and Lee shared heartfelt messages on social media. They also have two pet dogs named Quavo and Nobu. In November 2021, the couple announced the arrival of their first child, a son named Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee, who was born on November 26.
